Miso-glazed Aubergine

The perfect side dish in a lunch set. How is it so good?

SO GOOD oh my gosh…. extremely juicy and just explodes in your mouth. so so tender (like fall off the skin kinda tender BAHA) and the glaze was so dreamy. umami and flavour bomb. cannot recommend this enough, and the portion is pretty big!!! would finish this on my own if I wasn’t sharing:p

Every dish I tried at Itadaki Zen was amazing and would definitely come back. This miso grilled aubergine is a common Japanese dish at izakaya.
