Marinara Pizza

Happy belated valentine's everyone, for this year we decided to go back to a regular favourite... Real food restaurant, their western food is amazing! just like this pizza! now I usually get disappointed with tomato sauce in general when it comes to Italian cuisine (they usually looks nicer than they taste) but boy they nailed it, I wish they have some vegan mozzarella to make this into a margarita! The tomato sauce is amazing, full of flavour and sweet and spiced right. The girlfriend @dafnelately found it a tad bit strong unfortunately but I on the other hand almost single handedly finished it!

Straight off the menu it contains biodynamic tomato puree, vegan “parmesan” aka nutritional yeast, fresh basil leaves, fresh garlic in olive oil, organic extra virgin olive oil, dried herbs, and spices. The tomato sauce on this was far far far too strong 🤮 Much to the joy of my girlfriend, but nopes too much tomato in the foreground for this legume appreciator 🥴 She enjoyed it so much she actually had 4 slices or so on top of the main dish she ordered 😭 This literally was my main and I literally could not 😭 Silver lining is it’s #omnivoreapproved I guess 💁‍♀️ Photo 3 is them accidentally serving us a non-vegan margherita pizza instead the first time round 🙈 We had to send that back of course, even though technically the #significantomnivore could’ve eaten it. #askabillion what do you do when you have to send back food? I often feel a little guilty over the food waste but it’s not vegan and I’m deadly lactose intolerant ☠️ What was left over of the marinara pizza however we were smart enough to package in a #stasher we brought cause we knew we always have leftovers here 💆‍♀️
