Mala at shu never goes wrong. Ask for ta ma, ta la, less oil, less salt

Finally great mala at shu veg. They improved by leaps and bounds

My brother has been ordering from this vegetarian place whenever im over for dinner. We’ve been wanting to try their Mala. Spicy,tangy as what Mala should be. Also oily tho cos its d dried fried version. Overall taste-i like it. Not tooooo overpoweringly spicy. But yes it’s a wee bit too oily for me.

Ordered Mala Xiang Guo and shared it with my brother. We both agree that the one we had in Green on Earth tasted better. Even though this MLXG has the numbness from the peppercorn, it wasn't as aromatic and fragrant in terms of it's spices. Overall it was still pretty okay, especially being a vegan option for late night cravings/suppers!
