Lemon Bar Cone

We rarely go to Jeni's, but after a long event at Sunrise, we might as well treat yourself. Jeni's was my favorite #icecream as a kid (pre-vegan) spending much of my youth at Ballet Met in downtown Columbus, the big treat was to go to Jeni's during a break in the North Market. That was back when they only had a little stall, and now she has shops all over the country! They were a little hesitant to add vegan options and when vegans in the community asked, they always responded 'No, ice cream shouldn't be vegan,' but now the company is seeing the world change 🌍🌱 and has started rolling out #vegan #dairyfree flavors over the past few years. There are three sizes you can choose from, this is the standard size, which is two scoops and up to two flavors for $6.25 and both the sugar and cake cones are vegan. (Waffle cones are not) We chose one flavor, Lemon Bar. 🍋It was #delicious It was light and lemony and refreshing with actual pieces of vegan lemon curd and vegan short bread crumbles. It has a bit of tartness, but it's balanced out with the rich #coconut cream. It truly tastes like a lemon bar.
