Incredibly flavorful dish with #kakiage (vegetable tempura), spicy #tofu poke (spicy aioli, sea asparagus, cucumber, green onion), drizzle sweet soy sauce, spicy aioli, garlic yuzu rice. The veggie tempura has a great crunchy texture on the outside. The sauces and seasoning pair perfectly. And I appreciate how thoughtful the entire menu is--they have a separate #plantbased menu with notes on customizations so that it is very clear what is available and if you need to ask for a dairy free milk or if there is honey in something. There's also a #glutenfree menu to help you order gf friendly.
$22.95 before tax. Very large and filling portion that could definitely be split into 2 meals.
Very nice and helpful staff. There are 2 locations right next to each other and this is technically the wine bar, not the coffee location. BUT they have the same menu for breakfast and lunch, with the wine bar being way less busy. The coffee spot usually has a much longer wait whereas we were immediately seated at the wine bar (they have tables, it's not just a bar). But the wine bar is still pretty busy during breakfast, we waited about 20 mins to be seated at breakfast and another 20ish mins for our food to come out.
