Curry was good but I'm really not impressed with plant based meats anymore.. tofu cutlet is the best vfc
Curry felt abit overly sweet and salty (even for a jap curry). Not a fan of tindle, feel that typical cheap asian mock meats do a better job of replicating the texture of chicken. Would not recommend :/
Hearty curry that's an intriguing mix of spicy and sweet. Small cubes of green apple boost the tanginess and edamame offers a healthy crunch. It was missing the cabbage that I spy in other people's reviews 👀 but hardly noticed it as it was a satisfying meal.
Chicken cutlet was chunky and nicely battered. Side salad is refreshing and nice touch to balance the cutlet and curry. Overall 💯
My parents always told me life was full of disappointments… I just never thought it would come like this 😭 Visually, it wins. Everywhere else, so sad 🥲 The rice was lean and surprisingly dry? While the Tindle #katsu was breaded and fried well, it had an almost fishy stank. I was and still am confused. The texture leaves little to be desired… It’s got a bounce that’s just a tad too firm 🫣 The #katsucurry sauce was kinda bland and lacked that sweetness I crave in Japanese curry. $20.50 for a sizeable portion and a pretty wonderful ambience (for which I’m sorry I didn’t get a photo). I’d happily return to this Privé or any other but I wouldn’t order this 🫤
