I was expecting much better. This was my first time ordering here and I was looking forward to it. The experience and everything was disappointing...
To start I was waiting in the front for a while and the lady inside was ignoring me. I'm sure she saw me and I kept looking in from different areas of the window. The door was locked. I got the notification on my phone that my order was ready and I knocked many times. The lady wouldn't open the door and she kinda shooed me to go around to the back! I thought this was odd... but she just kept motioning in this way. I trek to the back muddy, wet, grungy back alley (normally where delivery people are supposed to go). The equally grungy door was shut and I knock... I hear a faint murmur of a voice, and decide to try opening the door. The awkward lady doesn't say much and I tell her who I am and my order. She said, "it's there". On a delivery type shelf. I told her how the pickup experience could be improved and she said everyone is expected to come to the back even if they are not delivery people because the shared space is divided in this manner. I think this is ridiculous and makes me wonder about the relationship of the two businesses. I do not think this is an up-to-par manner of doing business. After all, this isn't just a random hut found on a hiking adventure - that would be different.
All of that aside, the pasta was overcooked and mushy. The jalapeño flavour didn't come through. The chips were a nice touch though. However, overall it was bland and mushy and not worth it.
P.S. This was a late post and they don't have the jalapeño mac and cheeze on their menu at the moment. (I'm guessing they rotate some menu items).
