Hummus

I don’t know why this restaurant is saved with its name translated in English, as the actual name is supposed to be La Cour des Anges. Anyway, it’s not a vegan restaurant nor a vegetarian one, it does have some vegan options but not a huge choice, so I wouldn’t define it a vegan friendly restaurant. But compared to the rest here in Colmar, it’s somewhat friendly. I just think the bar is so low in this area when it comes to the vegan offer, even unremarkable places like this leave a mark for the poor vegans who are stopping by. This hummus has a weird consistency as it had full chickpeas in it. It also had very little tahini in my opinion, making the taste very different from the usual hummus I’m used to eat at middle-eastern restaurants. The bread they served to dip into the hummus was very tasty and crisp. Overall not a bad dish but also something I wouldn’t go here for. Definitely not worth the 13,90€ of the price. #colmar #hummus #dobetter
