Hainanese Chicken Rice

First time trying the chicken rice here. Not too bad,but not that outstanding either. I like the taste n texture of the #beancurd #chicken . The #rice is nice n light tasting. Comes with a side #tofu n boiled #brocolli and also a side salad. The #chilli was quite pleasant n it doesn’t hv tht garlicky smell.

Upsized version 👉 modest, no frills, basic #chicken #rice (priced at $6) was unavailable the day we visited but the atas version is up for grabs.. humphh 🤔 Let's just hope 💭 I'm overthinking 💭 it This was a $7.50 so they had to make it look the part with #rabbitfood and a fat squeeze of mayo (eggfree supposedly; they had to engage the entire kitchen crew in order to shed some vegan light on the mysterious dressing atop #purplecabbage & #carrots). Next, the chook. Gelatinous and looking like actual skin from left to right, top to bottom. Disturbing indeed, thank-tastefully unreminiscent of the foul.. the fowl No comments on #carbsforlife, just realized I forgot to sample that for this review. #chilli was as usual, heatless and disappointing. Great plate of veg chicken rice. They managed to make the rice taste 'oily' in a good way. Would be better if it came with soup
