Genius Black Lemonade

I was misled to think this might be a little smoke per the charcoal 🖤 but really, it isn’t 😣 It’s just a very pretty #lemonade 🧃 Perhaps concocted by one of the Addams gone vegan 🦇 It’s just the right amount of sour but really the #charcoal lends nothing to it other than colour. Perhaps a good option for a tummy ache?

This lemonade is sweet and just the right amount of sour. Its black because they added charcoal but it doesn’t really add to the taste or anything. #veganisnotscary

Interesting! This is a classic lemonade with a twist of charcoal. I find the taste like drinking a diluted cola. I squeezed the lemon on top to add more tanginess to the drink. #abillionturns3

I love a good lemonade and this is one of the better ones I’ve had. I liked that this was lightly fizzy rather than overwhelmingly carbonated, which is what lemonade tends to end up turning out in a lot of upscale restaurant where it’s just a glass of lemon-flavoured water. This one is good, though - a distinct citrusy, salty tang like those Himalayan salt lemon candies in drink form. The (flavourless) charcoal makes it feel like lemonade with shades on 😎. Yes charcoal has its purported health benefits but let’s be real it’s mostly its quirky aesthetic we’re drawn to. This is a pricey drink and you’re mostly paying for the novelty of charcoal. But it’s not a bad choice if you’re feeling indulgent.
