Fried Soy-meat sweet sauce

As a vegan and a cat-lover I could never pay to go in one of the cat cafes in Japan (or any other animal-themed cafe for that matter), because I know that those places breed and exploit animals for profit. I was instead very happy to visit this place which is a shelter for stray cats that allows people to hang with the cats and also to eat some vegan food. Not all cats are sociable and you’re warned about it priorly, but most of them were curious and some even cuddly. It was so nice spending some time with them and I was happy to pay a small fee to do so knowing that it would go to support them. You can really tell that the girls who work there really care for these cats. We also decided to eat there and I got the set menu with the sweet sauce soy-meat. It was a very well balanced meal and also pretty tasty. They also have a small shop were they sell cute merch with cats and of course I couldn’t help but buy something 🐱 The price for the menu was 1,700 ¥. Super cute little spot hidden in the laneways of Osaka - a cat cafe with an all-vegan menu 🐈‍⬛🐈 The kitties are all rescued and available to adopt out. The place was clean and the cats were clearly all well cared for by the kind owner. Lunch was a classic Japanese set meal with crispy fried soy meat, pickled veg, steamed vegetables, rice and salad. Simple but tasty, usually ¥1400 but you receive a ¥300 discount if you also visit the cats. Would recommend! #osaka #veganosaka #catcafe #veganinjapan

Posto meraviglioso che merita solo per il tipo di locale. Qui infatti vengono salvati e curati gatti randagi che poi possono essere adottati. Il menù è 100% vegano. Questo piatto in particolare era composto da riso e soia con una salsa agrodolce davvero molto buona.
