First time trying Mala! Quite an experience. With 5 pieces of tofu+ potatoes and noodles
it’s around 12 SGD. I love the garlic that they put on the mix.

Mala stalls are becoming more popular, and it’s easy not just to veganize but also
to get without the usual bad guys, eg, oil, and with lots of good guys, eg, garlic. We just have to be vocal.
Good flavour, generous amount of peanuts and garnish ☺️

I'm such a big fan of mala, I order it every single time I visit
a food court. This one was really good, I loved the spicy kick and the flavours of the sauce. They had a nice array of veggie and tofu options so you won't have much of a problem choosing vegan options. Bit pricier compared to other mala stalls I've been to, but I'll chalk that up to the orchard road rents I guess.
While I'm a big fan of mala, I wasn't too pleased with this dish. The
taste was okay, but there were big solid bits of roots/spices in the stir-fry, which I didn't really like. Also, at $19, this was definitely one of the most expensive malas I have ever bought. The veggie range wasn't that wide either. Overall, I'd recommend this place with caution.
