I came here as it seems like a local institution. The business reminds me of
Future Cafe, a popular chain in Toronto in the mid-90s. There was a big line-up and it had that kind of same vibe.
I wanted the drunken noodles but unfortunately they were not vegan and saw this in the fridge. The pad thai was well labeled but unfortunately it was a case of looking a lot better than it tasted. What it tasted like was vinegar and maybe the faint memory of tamarind, but not much else. The vegetables were relatively fresh but it wasn’t anything like an actual pad thai.
