I… did not expect “passion hericium” to literally mean #hericiummushroom cooked with passion fruit ❤️🔥
I was confused to why the dish tasted so citrusy at first until the feeling of hard passion fruit seed shells pressing on my teeth dawned on me 😬 Odd choice really cause while I can find the flavour somewhat enjoyable, that crunching feeling after every bite is not! It’s not just the mushrooms either though, I felt the crunching even through the rice even of the seeds weren’t at all visible 😵 fwiw, it’s an interesting meal and I now know for sure not to cook my meals with passion fruit 🥱 ps. I checked with the staff and the batter they used is vegan 😗
