Chicken Fried Shrooms

I was completely underwhelmed by these #friedmushrooms The gravy was good. The biscuit would have been better toasted with a side of jam or butter. The kale was unseasoned and bland. For $18, a little more effort than parboiled kale would be nice. They did bring hot sauce to add a little flavor. One of the mushrooms was burnt. I was hungry when I left. These had a great texture and taste. Just like the classics but without the animal parts. The gravy was creamy and delicious, the shrooms were crispy but also tender, and the sides of biscuits and greens were great. Definitely a good choice. #chickenfried #collardgreens #biscuitsandgravy
