Cast Iron Trail Cookie

i thought the cast iron cookie concept was pretty cool, and the elderberry compote was original and tangy. the banana nice cream melted extremely quickly; however, that was only because the cookie came out warm and fresh! only complaint is there were not enough chocolate chips !

I waited patiently for this dish all night. It's a big beautiful cookie topped with yummy nice cream and a tart blackberry reduction. The cookie had a wonderfully crunchy crust with a soft, chewy inside. It was served piping hot so the ice cream melted on top and cooled it down.
