Caramelized Eggplant Bao Buns

Everything at Charlie was a sinner is usually such a hit but these Bao buns were a little bit wet and the filling could have been tastier. Overall still one of my favorite vegan restaurants, but these weren’t my favorite.

This may seem like a small dish, but it is one of the more filling small plates. There is a great blend of tastes for a great Asian-fusion flair. The taste of the eggplant is not noticeable. I can taste the carrots more than the eggplant. This is one of the most popular dishes at the restaurant.
