An Indian couple runs the place with the intent of doing good for the community. One of their wonderful vegan creations is Cake Jars. They make several flavours, but only 2 were available today. So I bought one of each. The second I’m reviewing is Mango Mousse which I took home to enjoy the next day. It’s a delicious and fresh layered blend of cake and mango cream filling. It’s absolutely wonderful!! It’s a simple concept with a beautiful presentation. I don’t have mango-flavoured desserts as often as I would like. I’m going to have to change that. Of the two flavours of cake jars that I purchased, I think I prefer the Strawberry Cream just a bit more. But I would not hesitate to get either (or both) again. There’s so much more I’d like to try there. I had not been there in a while, so I’m very glad I went yesterday. I gotta go back again soon. This jar was $17.99 (a little steep), but the second was 50% off.
