🇬🇧 Nice slice of vegan blueberry cake taken from this chain in Copenhagen 😻 when I saw it in the window I immediately wanted to try it. The dough has a "crumble" effect so very grainy and greasy: the good part was the blueberries left whole that pushed a little the overall acidity of the dessert that otherwise would have been a little too sweet. As I said for other Danish sweets, the shortbread is too fat for my taste, but I think their conception of sweet is just like that. Abundant portion, we divided it into 2 🇮🇹Bella fettona di torta ai mirtilli vegan presa in questa catena a Copenhagen 😻 quando l’ho vista in vetrina l’ho subito voluta provare. L’impasto fa un effetto “crumble” quindi molto granuloso e untino: la parte buona erano i mirtilli lasciati interi che spingevano un po’ l’acidità complessiva del dolce che altrimenti sarebbe stata un po’ troppo dolce. Come detto per altri dolcetti danesi, le frolle risultano fin troppo grasse per i miei gusti, ma credo che la loro concezione di dolce sia proprio così. This blueberry pie from Expresso House was very decent, although it didn’t quite taste like the homemade berry pie you might be craving. The blueberry filling tasted nice and had quite a thick texture. The crumble on the top was not the best as it had a bit of a greasy taste in my opinion. Still happy to have this option all around town but it could probably be improved and is a bit pricey (42dkk).
