Blackened Carrots

I don’t like carrots but I really enjoyed this dish! 🥕 We ordered every vegetable tapas on the menu so I forgot what this was when it came, at first I thought it was beetroot then I thought it was asparagus but I was pleasantly surprised when my bf told me it was the carrots. The sauce that it’s coated with is slightly sweet and the carrots were a perfect texture—not too raw and hard and not too soft and mushy. The sesame seeds went very well with this too.

Lovely sweet flavour. Really liked the texture. Beautiful glaze. Enjoying the vitamin A too
