Black Forest Cake

Beautiful box. Pretty yummy!! Had lots of fruit in it. Although I wish the chocolate cake could have been more rich, more cream and the jam could have been abit more sour, so I could actually taste it more distinctively.

$4.50 per slice. Could be fruitier but pretty good - would like to try their other flavours! #veganisnotscary

A vegan black forest cake! 🍰 Perfect dessert for the weekend 🍰 Black Forest gâteau or Black Forest cake is a chocolate sponge cake with a rich cherry filling based on the German dessert Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, literally "Black Forest Cherry-torte". 🍰 Typically, Black Forest cake consists of several layers of chocolate sponge cake sandwiched with whipped cream and cherries.  🍰 Traditionally, each layer of cake is brushed with cherry liqueur with chopped cherries to the whipped cream filling 🍰 However the asian version has no cherry liquor & the cherry is only that one glazed cherry topping. 🍰 This vegan version is without egg or dairy.
