Biscuits and Gravy

Oh biscuits and gravy! A perfect breakfast after drinking a whole bottle of wine the night before. 🥴 Biscuits and gravy is one of my favorite breakfast options, and funny enough I've only have vegan versions! This one was delicious and so affordable. I got a whole order for only $10.50. Next time I'll probably get a half order honestly, although this heated up nicely as leftovers for dinner. The gravy is so savory and delicious. It gets a lot of flavor from black pepper. The green onion and tomato are a nice fresh touch and the biscuits are a great vehicle. The gravy to biscuit ratio is a bit high, but it's great for offering to friends who got toast with their meal. I really love the anarchist/punk aesthetic and ethos of this #workerowned joint on West Bank. What i lack in nighttime food photography skills, this all day breakfast option as this long time vegetarian/vegan restaurant makes up for in taste! This was a satisfying little to go box of breakfast. Loved it.
