Bought this together with their pumpernickel bread for the free delivery with Mun spend of
$15! (Review of the pumpernickel bread is in one of the earlier post).
As what their name suggest, this is really a perfectly humble and simple sourdough loaf for me (perhaps a little too humble). I think their creation is meant for the bread to be eaten as a complement to something more flavorful like stews, curries which is kind of perfect for me as I like them. Wouldn’t suggest this to go with avocado toast but of course personal preference. Had not tried to use it for sandwiches so do let me know if you have any comments on that!
