This was a pancake with a coconut-ty banana sauce. First up, really dig how Peranakans love to make their desserts colourful using natural ingredients like pandan leaves and blue pea flower. The pancake has a slight blue tinge on it which made it more interesting when presented. The pancake was qq, fluffy, more kueh like texture than western pancakes. The banana sauce, i believe was cooked with coconut milk, was not too sweet and jelak. Love how the banana taste was still prominent even when coconut milk was used and there were chunks of banana slices in the sauce👍🏻👌🏻🍌🥞
