
Ever-impressive allium-free yet fragrant aglio olio! The spaghetti was cooked in extra virgin olive oil and topped with a mix of umami shiitake and shimeji mushrooms. Bell peppers can also be included upon request when ordering if you would like some vegetables, like what I did on my previous visit. ($10)
Aglio olio literally means "spaghetti with garlic and oil", so I was curious how Sove would achieve this as an allium-free eatery. Mission Impastable? Impressed that they created a fragrant rendition despite not using garlic! Requested for a slightly spicy version with some black pepper and chilli flakes (which was still quite spicy for me haha). Topped with mixed mushrooms, bell peppers, and cherry tomatoes. They used extra virgin olive oil, and the dish was not greasy at all. ($10)
