Vegan Croissant au roots — Avis de pattini (8 sept. 2025)

I love a vegan croissant! This one from the Roots in Maschinenstrasse is prepared by Collective Bakery, which is a very renowned bakery in Zurich that also offers some vegan pastries. I like to come to this Roots location because of this, other locations don’t carry their pastries. Just be careful when ordering because although Roots is fully plant-based they seem to make an exception for Collective Bakery’s pastries: they carry both vegan and non vegan ones.

The consistency of this croissant was great, I love when they are buttery and flakey! The price was 5 CHF.
