Vegan Margherita Pizza au The Famous — Avis de Vikas Garg (3 sept. 2025)

The Famous is one of the new restaurants that’s popped in Leadville over the last few years. It’s super cool inside! Great atmosphere and a beautiful open back area that looks out at the Rockies. Definitely a great spot to hang!

I was super excited when I saw they had vegan options on the menu and vegan cheese for their pizzas. I just wish they were better! The pizza crust was really flat and didn’t have much flavor, neither did the sauce. We got another one with jalapeño peppers and red onion that was a bit better!

Overall a great place to hang if you’re ever in thjs beautiful old mining town on the other side of Aspen from Independence Pass!
