Baked Beans & Chips au New Inn — Avis de sianski (24 août 2025)

Not sure how you make beans from a can taste so bad! They looked like they’d been reheated several times over and dried out.
There was nothing vegan on the menu so I asked for beans and chips. The order got mixed up and peas came as well. It was a happy mistake because they were the best thing.
The food was all microwaved and tired looking.
They only take cash or bankers order.
We were en route to the coast and had worked up quite an appetite and needed a break. The views of the hills were very pleasant from the garden eating area, but the food was very poor unfortunately for vegan and non-vegan.
It’s a great, scenic road to the Allen Peninsula in North Wales but I don’t recommend stopping here for refreshment.
