These vegan soup dumplings are great as a snack or a meal. They are nowhere near the freshly made dumplings served in restaurants no matter what the advertisement says. However, as frozen soup dumplings, they are quite good. They do have soup in them. Steam them longer than the instructions indicate. It says to steam for 8 minutes. I used a rice cooker steamer, and 8 minutes was not long enough. 12 minutes or even 15 would be best.
I am very happy to be able to eat vegan soup dumplings at home. The plant based meat is made with jackfruit.
