I got the vegan plate, which was to me this biggest disappointment. The middle of the plate feature a cooked and unseasoned eggplant topped with a semi-mealy hummus. The falafel I found were really dense and didn’t have good flavour, and weren’t crispy but rather chewy, which is not the right texture for a falafel. The dumplings were also not as crispy as I would have liked, although the filling of vermicelli, mushrooms, carrots and tofu was yummy. The pita bread was a little undercooked. The garlic sauce was okay but not garlicky enough! Everything just didn’t quite hit the mark here. But I’m glad I tried it!
