A surprisingly good #wrap for sustenance on a long drive.
I tend to shy away from meat impersonation in food as I just don’t miss it and prefer lentil and bean based alternatives. But this was all that they had apart from a vegan poke bowl when we stopped for lunch at a motorway service station.
I imagine the suggestion that it tastes like duck might attract more custom from omnivores and that’s no bad thing.
The wrap was really well packed with protein - #spinach #potato #pea which was lavishly dressed in a sweet n sour hoisin sauce and contrasted with fresh, crisp Chinese leaf and spring onion. Pickled cabbage and ginger also gave a tasty flavour.
