Strawberry, Beet, and Feta Salad (gf) au Modern Love — Avis de kyu (8 août 2024)

This #berrylover #salad was one of the prettiest I’ve ever had — everything was so fresh, and the #eattherainbow presentation was simply gorgeous. This dish is #glutenfree and comes with roasted golden #beetroot, fresh #strawberry, Bibb lettuce, almond #veganfeta, pistachios, and shoots of fresh mint with #balsamic vinaigrette on the side.

The #almond feta looks very realistic, but it’s softer and considerably less salty than I remember the cheese being. If you’re someone who appreciates the control of adding your own dressing, you’ll probably appreciate the dressing on the side; I found it a little cumbersome, but I think that’s a matter of personal preference. While it’s perhaps not the most original salad combination, I thought it was fresh and tasty.

For $12, it wasn’t bad — I felt we got a pretty decent serving with a good variety of different ingredients. There was definitely an effort to make it look nice, in contrast to some of the other dishes, which aren’t so carefully plated/a bit of a hot mess.
