This was a pricey takeout at £4.50
However, in spite of the numerous cafés in this area of London, it was difficult to find any vegan food. In praise of this café, they had 3 #vegancake options.
The #blueberrymuffin is huge so perhaps it’s more justified to charge that much. I mean I could share it and in fact only had half and saved the other half 😊
It was cased in waxed paper and wrapped in a #recyclable paper bag to #takeaway
Now, to the taste. Crunchy, sugary topping, leading to a very appealing moist sponge.
I was expecting a bit more blueberry sharpness in contrast but the fruit was quite neutral.
I remedied that with some strawberry slices.
It’s a cake for that #sweettooth moment.
