Manzana au El Repulgue - Empanadas — Avis de Madeleine (28 mai 2024)

Apple strudel with raisins and walnuts. I loved how they actually had decent chunks of apple and pieces of walnut in it! I wasn’t a fan of the pastry though. It seems like they just took the regular savoury dough they use fit everything else and just added sweetener to it. No butteriness and the texture wasn’t right for a dessert like this. It definitely needs to be sweet, light, flakey pastry for this.
