Hawaiian Moons is a vegan-friendly grocery store and deli right across the street from the beautiful Kama’ole I Beach Park. I’ve been getting this tasty tofu dish here for years, and it’s always great. You can also order an espresso drink with non-dairy milk and won’t get an upcharge here, in contrast to many other places, including national chains like Starbucks and local places like Mana Foods and Maui Coffee Roasters. As an aside, Hawaiian Moons is sometimes a celebrity hangout. If you see someone famous, please don’t gawk or ask for an autograph.
