Whenever my parents cook pasta, I get invited to their place for dinner. Pasta is one of two vegan meals they know how to prepare. Regardless of their limited culinary imagination, I was very appreciative that they got me Daiya Italian 4 Cheeze Flavour Blend from Healthy Planet. I don’t know how much they paid.
The 4 cheeses are Parmesan, Mozzarella, Provolone and Asiago. I absolutely loved the taste of this cheese blend. It even melted a bit and got a little stringy.
A serving size (1/4 cup) is a little heavy on the fat and sodium, but does provide 12% of your day’s recommended calcium intake.
Without any hesitation, I would get this again. I’m sure it would also go well on pizza.
