I used to love soy curls so much but now that they are more commonly available from non-vegan places I am finding them ill prepared in the same way people who don’t eat tofu regularly don’t understand how to cook or season it. I recently had a burrito from Tacofino that featured completely unseasoned crunchy curls in it. I regretted straying from my usual.
The price is also insane now. Once a bag was 3.99-4.99 and now they go for $10 plus some places. Personally I love tofu so much that I’m just continuing to enjoy that and not buying these so much anymore. Which is too bad because I a giant plastic shaker of soycurl seasoning.
