I got the fried beehoon, and to pair with i chose a piece of tofu, a vegetable dish, and string beans with brinjal. Oh and a splash of veg curry. All this for 4:20 😉,which i thought was pretty reasonable especially given we’re in the CBD. it was a decent portion and tasty. I particularly enjoyed the brinjal dish and the other veggie dish. The tofu and curry were tasty as well. They confirmed that they used coconut milk in their curries, not dairy so not scary. Also, it being a veg stall, we’re assured that the sambal is vg-friendly. In all, a tasty, affordable lunch for under a fiver. #economicbeehoon #mifen #mifun #bifun

One of two vego stalls in the Newly reopened Market street hawker centre (formerly known as Golden Shoe) has two vego stalls. 伊恩素食/Yi En Vegetarian sits on the third floor.
You can get the standard rice/noodle + veggies option, but they also have daily specials. Reasonable prices,decent portions. As mentioned, they don’t use dairy in their dishes, and they were very patient with my questions. I dont think they’re open for dinner, or on weekends, best check with them.
