I bought this can of President’s Choice Tunaless Chunks (Thai Chili flavour) at No Frills months ago for $1.49. I had only tried the regular’ one before, but not this one. I finally tried it today and I was underwhelmed. Although I enjoyed the taste, it didn’t have a fishy taste. I wasn’t a big fan of tuna in my pre-vegan days, but I did expect this tunaless tuna to have at least a hint of a tuna taste or smell. But it didn’t. I liked the texture though.
Unlike the ‘regular’ tunaless tuna which has spring water in the can, this didn’t. I don’t know if it was supposed to be like this or if it’s the result of it having sat in my fridge for a couple months. Either way I’m not complaining. 
I added vegan mayonnaise, onions, plant-based cheddar shreds, a bit of lime juice and pickle slices to make my Thai Chili tunaless salad sandwich.
The nutritional numbers don’t look too bad, but you must be aware that it pertains to only half the can. Who eats only half a can of this tunaless tuna?
For $1.49, I thought it was a good deal. I’d still get it again.

I have only tried this one, there was no liquid in the can when I tried it either. Did you find that the regular one tasted more "fishy"?
