Simply Protein’s bars have the best texture of any I’ve tried so far — #crispy and light — but I didn’t care so much for this flavor. Ordinarily I’m #teamdarkchocolate all the way; this #protein bar was too sweet. I think they could have backed off a little on the sugar alcohols (that would make it easier on the gut, too.) I appreciated the touch of #seasalt — I happen to enjoy a #sweetandsalty pairing.
It’s obviously highly processed, but the nutritional composition and overall experience are pretty decent. Even though this flavor wasn’t my favorite, I’d still recommend this brand over almost any other #veganprotein option. Like every other #snack in my office, this came in a Costco multipack, but they can also be purchased from other retailers or online.
