NEW DISH ALERT! #firstreview

I was SO excited when I saw that Zen Gardens had new menu items when we went in today! I squeeled!

Jesse convinced me to get this #vegan bacon #friedrice. I NEVER would have chosen this, as I am not normally drawn to words like "bacon" LOL! I am so glad Jesse made us get this because I think we have decided that this makes it into the top 3 best dishes here! It was DELICIOUS! Like unreal! I can't even believe it!

It was $14.99. The server was also saying how unreal it was and how she can't stop herself from eating it all at once LOL! Love it.

It was described as: stir fried rice tossed with veggie bacon, #carrots, #corn and #sugarsnappeas . The depth and smokiness and char...we couldn't get enough! And how nicely coated in oil this was but it wasn't too oily?! How?!?! And even though the sugar snap peas were cut so thinly, it was what brought such freshness to the dish. Just wooooowwwwww. And how the grains stuck together and didn't crumble apart like other fried rice. Jesse just kept saying how much this dish reminded him of China :) so fun!

The bacon was King's Bacon. I will be making this dish a regular part of my order! :)
