i got these on sale, but i don’t think i’d be able to afford them regularly as the price is a bit high. i used them to make a sandwich with peppers, onions, dijon, and cheese and i thought they were delicious!
the texture of these slices is fairly accurate and would do well in a cheesesteak. they do not stay together very easily though, so be careful in taking them out of the package if you want to keep the “slice” format.
the taste reminded me of steak but wasn’t quite there yet; however, i do really love the flavor for what it is and by flavor and texture alone i’d definitely purchase these again.
