For such an #economicalrice of solid quality, it’s no wonder the lunch queue leaves hungry patrons waiting for an average of 20 minutes on your typical workday in Singapore’s CBD area 😮‍💨 (at least, if you arrive a minute after 12pm)

I opted for 1 protein, 1 #vegetable, and 1 kind of vegetable with #brownrice 😋 Naturally, my #tofulover instincts had me gravitating towards the braised #beancurd 🤤 I do love me some soft #tofu 😌 The soy sauce gravy gave moisture to the fibrous rice against the crispy #vegetablefritters 😝 I can still recall the balanced umami with the hint of sweetness from the sweeter bits like the preserved radish 😙 Then, it all was rounded of with a comforting side of a simple #stirfried #kangkong 🥰

This was the average $3-4 which is undoubtedly one of my personal best #bangforbuck in Singapore 😉

For anyone looking for #greatvalue in #chinesefood #economyrice do stop by this humble little stall before 11:50am to avoid the lines 😜
