Bueberry sponge au Victoria and Albert Members Room — Avis de sianski (4 oct. 2023)

A very pleasant vegan sponge. Almost had a frangipani texture and taste, encrusted with blueberries. It was delicate and not too sweet.
Unusually at the museums, the members’ room at the V&A has table service. The menu had no mention of anything vegan other than one main course meal. I enquired about vegan cake and the staff member informed me that there was just this one option.
Lucky for me it was a grand option and went down very nicely with a cup of tea.
This cafe is light and airy with a huge glass-domed ceiling.
