Peanut tempeh sandwich au Lilac Oak — Avis de Aishah Al Attas (29 sept. 2023)

A simple sandwich, and that is where the beauty lies. The bread was toasted at just right level where it was crispy yet not burnt, which also lent itself well to lasting for a long time without turning soggy. The veggies were super fresh and the tempeh was nice, nutty and earthy. The peanut sauce that it came with really tied everything together, tasted like there was some sesame in there too! A great option for when you’re craving something on the lighter side which still does the job of keeping you satiated.
