Review of Hen of the Woods at Avant Garden East Village by itsjamiescorner

This meal was ahhhhmazing! We started it with the Caesar salad which was super creamy, cheesy and fresh. Next we got the hen of the woods mushrooms which was delicious but not filling enough. We ordered one more main dish before dessert which was the crispy rice and this was hands down my favorite!! The miso glaze was sweet and savory and the texture was the perfect crunch. I also highly recommend the chocolate lava cake for dessert!
