Regarding #wholegrains, one of my favorites to cook with is fragrant brown #basmati rice. 🌾😌 Unfortunately, most rices which are internationally shipped tend to have high carbon emissions attached. Lundberg Family Farms is great for its #sustainability, especially as their manufacturing facilities are 100% powered and offset by #renewableenergy and the packages can be terracycled. ☀️♻️ I suppose the main drawback is it’s just not as fragrant. 😅 One reliable trick though (if you have the time) is to soak the basmati rice beforehand for 30-45 minutes and then cook it. Other than that, it’s for an affordable price and is great for #buddhabowls and #curry. I’d definitely recommend #lundberg if you live in the U.S. 👍

Wow super cool that you found Basmati rice grown in California and it’s brown rice too. Brown Basmati rice rocks. Thanks for sharing about the sustainability. As you’ve pointed out rice cultivation is a big contributor to greenhouse gases.
