Wow wow wow!
This is a colab made in vegan food heaven.
Infinite Cafe in Cape Town has teamed up with Vegan Chef in Joburg and created this mouth watering, taste bud satisfying chicken style burger.
It's a seitan based 'chicken' fillet coated in a crispy, herb and spice crumb which is deep-fried (healthy for the mind, not the body 🤫)
Not all seitan is equal so when I say Vegan Chef is a genius, I'm not kidding. The seitan is perfect and not chewy in any way.
Served on a fresh bun with slaw.
It was originally only on the menu for vegan month in November and I was pretty sad at the thought of not being able to have another but they've brought it back for a limited period.
The restaurant itself is really nice with art work on the walls and lovely plants to create a chilled space.
Staff are friendly and very welcoming and everything on the menu is vegan.
Being in Cape Town CBD, parking can be tricky but I've always found spots right outside on the weekends.
Guess where I'm going today 😃
