this is a new product at sprouts. Maybe poking them has been helping? I have never had traditional chorizo so don't really have anything to compare it to but it was pretty good. The main ingredients are texturize vegetable protein and paprika. It is very red. i comes out with garlic and olive oil and it tasted great with a little red sauce, olives, and cheese on pizza. There is a light casing around it. I was pleasantly surprised. #chorizo #pizza
