vegan chocolate cake au Cedele — Avis de Charllotte (19 juin 2022)

So happy Cedele has another vegan cake besides their vegan matcha cheesecake. Personally I prefer the chocolate cake way more than their matcha one. I find their matcha one too creamy (no sponge?) and a tad too sweet (wondered if they changed their recipe coz the matcha one I had few years back was quite nice).

Anyway this chocolate cake is a sponge cake with a right amount of cream. Sweetness is just right for me. There is also a layer of raspberry in the middle. The chocolate is very rich, cake is moist and dense, unlike other vegan cakes I’d tasted which were usually quite dry. So yes, this is my favourite vegan cake so far in terms of visual aesthetic, taste and texture. Oh, my family love this cake best too vs the other vegan cakes I let them tried before. lol. Will definitely order this again next time! :)
